Title: IT'S ABOUT WHAT YOU CAN'T DO... YET!

Time: Up to 60 minutes

In a Nutshell                                                                                                       A highly entertaining and inspiring program for your next meeting or event, based on Mark's experience of training for and completing numerous endurance adventures like his 274 mile run across Pennsylvania and his recent 26.2 mile marathon up and down the Philadelphia Art Museum (Rocky) steps.

As a gymnastics coach of more than twenty-five years Mark has developed a fascination with challenging himself, his athletes and his audiences to do the things they can't do... yet.

And he brings it all to this program.

When was the last time you saw a speaker perform a back flip on the platform or twist an audience member into a pretzel by making them step through a broomstick? Expect a program unlike anything you've seen before. Mark’s audiences learn by hearing, seeing and doing. He has been known to give phone book tearing lessons and even demonstrate how to punch a "4" nail through a wooden board. Also, as a master storyteller, he shares lessons learned from some of his own experiences like, trekking through the Nepal Himalayas, riding a bicycle over 5000 miles around Europe, living out of a backpack for six months while touring through south-east Asia, traveling more than 100,000 miles in an R.V. with three kids under the age of five, a 274 mile run across the state of Pennsylvania in ten days and a 100 mile run in 29 hours along the Florida Keys.

Is there is something that your company, organization or key players can't do... YET?

Then Mark is the guy you want talking to them.

Mark's goal                                                                                                                                                                       To get people fired up about what they can't do... yet! He does this by teaching them techniques to develop their focus, build their confidence and then motivate themselves to consistently step up to the challenge of their own potential.

How he does that                                                                                                                    With an entertaining and inspiring 60 minute program that celebrates the challenges of doing things that are hard to do. Mark takes a simple program that he originally created to help aspiring Olympic gymnasts deal with the fears, frustrations and failures of learning high level skills and reworks it to apply to any tough challenge.

Who hires Mark?                                                                                                                                                      Driven companies and organizations whose key players would benefit from learning a simple and strategic system for continuous performance improvement.

How will Mark’s program improve your organization?                                                   Your key players will learn to embrace the concept of an “I can’t… yet” attitude. Not only will they gain the tools to confidently deal with the challenges of a stressful workday and changing marketplace but will, more importantly, start seeking out new ways to develop their own talents and potential through the challenges of their daily work.

Motivation from others is a temporary crutch... real winners are self-motivated

The only way to avoid fear is to live well inside your potential... don't avoid fear; handle it

"I Can't" is either a reason to get busy or an excuse to quit, depending on your attitude

You don't get what you wish for... you get what you work for

You don't get what you want... you get what you deserve

If you know you can succeed you are playing it way too safe... winners are driven by belief not guarantees

The challenges that fascinate winners into action are the same challenges that frustrate losers into quitting

Saying you are committed is easy... proving you are committed by dealing with the inevitable fears, frustrations and failures of pushing yourself is hard
