Mark Gibson Adventure seeker and Owner of the Boing Gymnastics Center in Perkasie, PA Mark's CAT Tale In the summer of 2016 Mark and his son Tim attempted to ride skateboards almost 600 miles from Washington DC to Ottawa, Canada. They traveled unsupported carrying all their gear on their backs. They slept in roadside woods most nights and survived on fast food and the finest gas station cuisine. Full Bio: Several years ago, Mark created a list of adventurous challenges he wanted to try. He now calls it his list of “99 things I can’t do… YET!”. Since then he has ridden a bicycle 5000 miles around Europe, scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef, learned to surf (drown) in Bali, Indonesia, trekked the 200 mile Annapurna circuit in the Nepal Himalayas, biked the length of Great Britain, run 276 miles across Pennsylvania, run a 26.2-mile marathon up and down the Philadelphia Art Museum (Rocky) steps, finished a 100-mile ultramarathon from Key Largo to Key West and most recently completed a 600-mile skateboard journey from Washington DC to Ottawa, Canada. He is currently in training to attempt a 44-mile, one day, double crossing of the Grand Canyon. |

Following the death of a beloved, 7-year-old karate student to a brain tumor, Bruce became close with Christopher’s parents. After forming the Christopher Court Foundation, Tim and Caroline Court asked Bruce to sit on their board. Two years and $66,000 worth of fundraising later, they chose to form “Join The Revolution For Cancer-Free Kids” and attempted to raise $100,000 for cancer research by riding bicycles across the entire United States in only eight days.

Kevin has worked for 25 years to reintroduce native fauna and flora to the Costa Rican rainforest.

Born in Montana close to Yellowstone Park, Kevin Yardley has traveled extensively throughout the world to reforest native species of trees. The tree planting enables the rainforest to be protected so that jaguars, scarlet macaws, squirrel monkeys and other rare flora and fauna such as mahogany, cocobolo rosewood, and Spanish cedar trees have bounced back from the brink of extinction. Drawn to Costa Rica by the WorldTeach program to help people in the countryside learn English, Kevin and his wife have worked for 25 years building bridges and supporting schools. Their businesses export to more than 100 countries while supplying the best companies such as Martin Guitar and Knoll with sustainable wood.

Competing in an invitation only, 3-day, 321.6-mile individual ultra-endurance event, Ultraman Florida (Day I is a 6.2-mile swim followed by a 92- mile bike ride. Day II is a 171 mile bike ride. Finally, Stage III is a 52.4-mile double marathon run).

Marc is a 44-year-old husband and father to a beautiful 10 yr. old girl. He was a soccer player growing up and finished his playing career upon receiving a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University. Throughout the years, he has been employed as a design engineer, carpenter, cabinet/furniture maker, project manager, and stay-at-home dad. Most recently, Marc decided to follow his passion; triathlon & multi-sport, and start a career in the cycling and triathlon arena. It may have taken a while, but he finally applied the same mental approach to his professional life that has allowed an ordinary person like him to complete in extraordinary endurance adventures, including qualifying for and finishing the Hawaii Ironman World Championship on 3 occasions.

Somehow, managed to juggle responsibilities of medical work with family responsibilities, raising seven children who are now 40 to 50 years old and parents themselves, collectively of 15 next generation children (a sixteenth on the way). At age 52, began to get more active physically, and at age 55 began to compete in short course triathlon. For the last 15 years, have done half-iron and ironman distances, competing in Florida, Brazil, Kentucky, New York, and Hawaii.

Dogs have always been a part of Rob’s life, including the 20 winters spent in Alaska racing his sled dogs.

Dogs have always been a part of Rob Downey’s life and hold a very special place in his heart. He is well known in the world of Sled Dogs as an accomplished musher, competing in major sled dog races from Alaska to Argentina for the past 30 years. In 2008, he won the North American Championship in Fairbanks, Alaska and in January of 2009, his team won a Bronze Medal for the United States in the World Championships. Rob has covered over 30,000 miles by dog team in his career. He has some very entertaining and quite humorous stories about his life with dogs. He has spent 20 winters in the interior of Alaska racing and his encounters with the majestic Alaskan wildlife have been frequent and occasionally life threatening.
