WHAT MARK DOES
He works with companies and organizations that want to nurture great ideas and implement them faster, more effectively and more consistently.

HOW HE DOES THAT
He shares the C.A.T. mindset model he initially developed for himself to take on outrageous challenges.

WHO HIRES MARK?
Companies and organizations that want the competitive advantage of teams that are innovative, driven and resilient.
And...

want a (very) outside prospective to help generate fresh ideas, challenge stale thinking and stir up everyone's creative mojo.

WHY DO THEY HIRE HIM?
Because...

Curious team members are problem solvers, solution seekers and innovators.
Audacious team members are decisive action takers.
Tenacious team members have the grit to crush obstacles and nail the tough projects.

WHAT'S THE CORE TAKEAWAY?
The C.A.T. Advantage

The mindset model he developed and uses to think big, act boldly and tough it out to the finish.

The three C.A.T. questions your team will ask themselves everyday..
.

LIVE KEYNOTE or VIRTUAL

Learn The C.A.T. Advantage

Curiosity-Audacity-Tenacity
In his signature keynote Mark brings together humor, audience interaction and stories of his own misadventures to explain how he takes a crazy idea and makes it happen.

From running the 100 mile length of the Florida Keys to riding a skateboard 600 miles to Canada, his programs are a highly engaging masterclass in thinking creatively, acting boldly and persevering relentlessly.
"They may not leave wanting to ride a bicycle across the US or run a double marathon across the Grand Canyon but they will definitely leave with a reignited outlook about what they do, how they do it and why they should do it bigger, bolder and better!"

Corporate Events, Annual Conferences, Trade Associations, Sales Meetings, Awards Banquets

Top Ten Reasons People Hire Mark (which one sounds like you?)

  1. We need to get out of the habitual routine of just "doing things the way they've always been done"
  2. We need to stop being so intimidated by big ideas
  3. Our creative thinking needs a kick in the pants
  4. We need to get the whole team on board with new changes
  5. Constantly motivating lethargic team members is unproductive. We need people who know how to be self-motivated
  6. We need everyone to step up their game to pull off this difficult challenge and not just quit at the first setback
  7. The complainers and whiners have too much influence on our team culture. It's time to celebrate the innovators
  8. We need to focus a bit less on what we've done and more on what's next
  9. We need people who can handle the chaos of growth and stay focused on the objectives ahead
  10. We need people who treat challenges like a puzzle to be solved not a chore to be reluctantly tolerated, or worse, avoided

Mark Has inspired audiences in 38 states over the last 20 years
He has led everything from intimate workshops with small groups of key people to major keynotes to a large audience. His largest was over five thousand.

His style is
a mixture of:
  • entertainment
  • audience involvement
  • inspiration
Entertaining (so they'll be engaged)
Mark is a master storyteller. He believes in putting his own advice into action and shares with his audience all the ups and downs of going after his own adventures. There was the impromptu gymnastics class he taught to a crowd of Nepalese kids in the Himalayas. Or the struggle of pushing a heavy loaded touring bicycle 5000 miles around Europe. Or the disastrous outcome of diving off a ten-meter platform to impress a girl at the age of fourteen. (We've all been there.)

Audience Involvement (so they'll remember)
Before entering the corporate world Mark learned the craft of speaking from inspiring teenage athletes. He quickly discovered that he has a lot more fun when his audience is having a lot more fun. He has been known to give phone book tearing lessons, stage hilarious flexibility contests and stump his audience with frustrating bar bets.

Inspiration (so they'll take action)
All the entertaining and audience involvement is for nothing if they don't leave with mind full of take away ideas that they can start putting into action before they even leave the room. Rather than temporarily motivate a reluctant crowd into briefly flirting with a "better attitude" Mark aims to create a true mind-shift moment that has a lasting effect.
